INTERIM Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Janet Sheriff brings 25 years of senior management industry experience to her role as Executive Chair, and Interim Chief Executive Officer, of C2C Gold Corp. Ms. Sheriff previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Golden Predator Mining Corp and President of Tigris Uranium (now enCore Energy Corp.). Ms. Janet Sheriff is the founder of Newfoundland.Gold, a strategic marketing alliance promoting the progressive jurisdiction of Newfoundland & Labrador and the region’s leaders in exploration & mining. She also serves as Co-Founder and President of Group 11 Technologies, a private company focused on the development of non-invasive and environmentally-friendly precious metals extraction. With a strong commitment to social responsibility and community engagement she has successfully negotiated and implemented socio-economic and exploration agreements with indigenous governments plus implemented numerous innovative programs to ensure community involvement in corporate projects. Ms. Janet Sheriff holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from Queens University (1986), and is a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Commemorative Medal awarded for outstanding achievements by Canadians.


Weiting (Camille) Zhou, (M.Sc)

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Zhou brings in over 10 years of experience in finance from private and public companies. She started her professional career at Ernst & Young LLP and has spent most of her career in various finance roles in the resource industry, with a focus on mining companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. She is experienced in financial reporting under both IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Ms. Zhou comes to the Company from Golden Predator Mining Corp., where she recently served as Corporate Controller. Ms. Zhou holds a M.Sc. in Finance from University of Saskatchewan, with a research focus on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. She also holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from University of Macau.

Chris Buchanan

Chief Geologist

Chris Buchanan is a professional geologist with over 24 years of mineral exploration, mining project evaluation, geological modeling, technical writing, and mine development experience throughout Newfoundland, Yukon, British Columbia, the Trans-Hudson orogenic belt, South America, Mexico, and Australia. He holds a Hons. B.Sc. (Geology) from the University of Waterloo and a M.Sc. (Geology) from Memorial University of Newfoundland.

His recent work has focused on structurally controlled gold-bearing quartz systems, unconformity and volcanic hosted uranium deposits, lead-zinc deposits, and copper-gold porphyry systems. He has held key roles with major and junior exploration companies and since 2004 he has worked as an independent consultant providing structural geology expertise and exploration program management services. Most recently he helped guide the PL gold deposit in Manitoba to a positive feasibility study.

Chris is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and is registered to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Shawn Ryan

Technical Advisor

Shawn has over 20 years of experience prospecting gold across the Yukon and has been rapidly expanding his prospecting in Canada’s Newfoundland. A global leader in his field, his prospecting and specialization on advanced soil work led to the discovery of the millions of gold ounces including the Golden Saddle & Arc, Coffee, and QV gold resources. This success has also been recognized with Shawn winning the 2011 PDAC Prospector of the Year Award, 2010 Spud Huestis Award and the 1998 Yukon Chamber of Mines Prospector of the Year Award. Shawn continues to be an active participant with his technical teams, constantly improving efficiencies with his methodological exploration techniques.
