ADJACENT PROJECTS

Numerous large-scale placer gold operations on Indian River directly north

The Bishop property consists of 18 claims covering 376 hectares of the Dawson Mining Division.  The property is located at the headwaters of Bishop Creek approximately 50 kilometres south of Dawson City, Yukon.  There are numerous large scale placer gold mining operations on the Indian River directly north of the property.  Poor access is provided by a seasonal trail that leads from Montana Creek to placer claims on Stowe Creek just south of the property.

In 2011 Taku identified a circular, moderate to strong, gold-in-soil anomaly measuring 200 by 200 metres on the north slope of a low hill located in the centre of the property.  Gold values within anomaly trend varied from 21 to 86 parts per billion Au gold.  In 2016 a VLF electromagnetic survey was completed.  No clear bedrock targets were identified, although several north-trending VLF conductors were defined adjacent to the gold-in-soil anomaly.

Recent Developments

There has been no work at Bishop since 2016.  No clear trenching or drilling targets have been identified to date.  A detailed soil sampling grid at 25 sample spacing may better outline a target.
